    Brief Details:This event has been cancelled. Instead we are offering this option on an individual organisation basis. If your board of governors, trustee members or corporation would be interested in having the RSC come in to see you or attend a meeting then please get in touch.
    Information:This event for governors develops understanding of how technology can contribute towards strategic objectives , the barriers that hinder effective use and how they may be overcome.

    Technology can make educational organisations more effective and efficient. It both enriches and improves access to learning. It enables more to be done with less. Yet it is very easy to waste money.

    Aim: to help governors explore the strategic place of technology in learning and the business of educational organisations.

    Objectives: Delegates will be able to:
    • review national policies and priorities in relation to technology;
    • take advantage of a tool to review their organisation’s current use of technology;
    • consider current developments in technology and their consequences;
    • explore how barriers to effective use of technology can be overcome.

    Target Audience:
    • governors, corporation members and trustees of FE, Sixth form and Specialist colleges
    • senior managers
